MELLOW MUMMAS

A supportive and inclusive online space for pregnancy and post partum yoga based practices. Practice live at a 6 week courses or in your own time via the on demand site. Connect with yourself, your baby and the wider mellow mummas community. Our teaching evolves around you and the collective desire to feel dam good. All practices address what we go through in the peri natal period and introduces ways to rebalance back to our best selves. We recommend you pair Mellow Mummas with strength training from a perinatal specialist, pelvic floor check ups from a pelvic health physio, birth education and antenatal education. 

Mellow Mummas supports all pregnant people and also supports how they wish to identify. We will not only support pregnant people but also their birth partners on a conscious, mindful journey through rituals and practices all centred around self care, self discovery and self love.

JENNY CLARK

I found yoga in my late teens. As a competitive figure skater I was looking for something to help flexibility and mobility. I re-discovered it for the second time following a car crash and for a third time when living in Canada where power vinyasa was widely taught. I was in love and decided to train as a teacher in 2011. I have been guiding yoga, mainly vinyasa styles all over the world ever since. My interest moved to Pre and Post Partum whilst pregnant with my daughter and I retrained in this speciality with various schools. I am driven my possibility and holding space for whats needed. Outwith Mellow Mummas my job involves a lot of personal and leadership coaching and from time to time that weaves into my teaching. I am expecting my second child in Summer 2021 so I am stepping away from teaching live courses for the remainder of 2021.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN CAN I START ONLINE PREGNANCY YOGA?

Mellow Mummas recommends you are at least 13 weeks pregnant before beginning a course. Mellow Mummas On Demand Membership Site has specific practices for the first trimester as well as guided breathing and relaxation which are all suitable for weeks 0-12.

WHEN CAN I START ONLINE POST PARTUM YOGA?

Mellow Mummas recommends that you are around 6 weeks post partum for a vaginal delivery and 12 weeks post partum for an abdominal delivery. We also highly recommend a pelvic floor check up from a pelvic health specialist alongside your GP 6 week check.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO ONLINE YOGA?

Mellow Mummas Online Pregnancy Yoga and Post Partum Yoga can be practiced in the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you. Expect to feel more body aware, in tune and mobile. The benefits far exceed the physical and include mental clarity, headspace, patience and better sleep.

IF I SIGN UP TO A COURSE BUT CAN'T MAKE THE LIVE TIME WHAT HAPPENS?

The 6 week courses are recorded and a reply link with recap email is sent out on the same day. If you miss a class you can catch up in your own time. You could also choose a 'replay only' payment option which is half price and means you only watch the recordings, perfect if you know the time slot doesn't work for you but you would like to still take the course.
