a class?

Baby yoga provides a nurturing environment for both you and your little one to experience relaxation, gentle movement, and mindful connection.

These age-appropriate assisted movements can help with digestion, comfort, brain development, and getting ready for crawling.

For the adults, the class offers a chance to de-stress, release tension, and cultivate a deeper connection with their baby. No prior yoga experience is needed to attend—these sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

So whether you're seeking a moment of calm amidst the chaos of parenthood or simply want to connect with other like-minded individuals, our Baby and Me Yoga class offers a supportive space for you to unwind, recharge, and connect with your little one.

Baby Yoga v Baby Sensory

As a new parent, you are often bombarded with an array of classes and activities for your baby. Two popular options are baby yoga and baby sensory classes. While both offer unique benefits, they cater to different needs and approaches in early childhood development. At Mellow Mummas, our chiropractic-approved baby yoga focuses on low stimulation, mindfulness, and purposeful movement, setting it apart from the high-energy, multi-sensory approach of baby sensory classes.

4 ways this Glasgow based Baby and Me Yoga Class is different from Baby Sensory....

1. Low-Stimulation Environment

Our classes are intentionally kept calm and soothing, avoiding flashing lights and loud noises. This low-stimulation approach is perfect for babies who need a gentler environment to feel secure and relaxed. It helps in reducing overstimulation, allowing babies to explore movement and connection in a safe, nurturing space.

3. Chiropractor-Designed

Our classes are developed in consultation with a chiropractor specialising in infant development. Every movement is chiropractic-approved to ensure it is safe and beneficial for your baby's growing body. This attention to detail means that our yoga poses help prepare your baby for milestones like crawling, loosening their fascia, and activating their vestibular system through balancing moves.

2. Yoga for Both You and Baby

Unlike many baby classes, our Baby and Me Yoga includes exercises for both the parent and the baby. You’ll benefit from stretches and movements designed to alleviate the physical demands of parenthood, while your baby engages in gentle yoga poses that support their physical development.

4. Home Practice Manual

You receive a comprehensive manual with all the chiropractor-approved baby yoga moves, so you can continue practicing at home. This ensures that even if your baby is sleeping on the day of the class, you won’t miss out on learning the beneficial movements.
